University Health Services –

University Health Services (UHS) is your comprehensive on-campus health care resource. They specialize in outpatient student health including the treatment of medically urgent problems and ongoing health concerns. They also provide preventative care, education, and resources to help students live a healthy lifestyle.

Mount Nittany Medical Center –

Mount Nittany Medical Center is a 260-bed acute care facility offering medical, surgical, diagnostic and community services to help patients reach their healthiest potential.

One of the region’s top places to work, Mount Nittany Health employs about 2,400 skilled healthcare professionals and support staff and credentials hundreds of employed and non-employed physicians in more than 60 specialties and subspecialties.

Counseling & Psychological Services –

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) provides group and individual counseling, crisis intervention, and psychological and psychiatric evaluations for undergraduate and graduate students as well as prevention and consultation services for the University community.

Their professional staff includes psychologists, psychiatric providers, professional counselors, social workers, and graduate trainees.

Campus Recreation –

With so many recreation opportunities, you can stay fit, have fun, reduce stress, learn a new sport, or explore the outdoors. The Penn State student fee gives you access to most of our recreation spaces so find your challenge and get moving.

Health Promotion &  Wellness –

Penn State Health Promotion and Wellness is an excellent resource for student health education and information. Their goals include:

  • Increasing awareness and knowledge of health issues, including:
    • Sexual health
    • Stress and sleep
    • Nutrition and fitness
    • Wellness
    • The use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs
    • Body image and eating disorders
  • Promoting healthy behaviors
  • Providing health education services, programs, information, and materials to students

Alcohol & Drug Education & Recovery

Are you concerned that you or someone you know has a problem with alcohol or other drugs? Do you struggle with the misuse of alcohol, marijuana, or prescription medications? Learn about the self-help resources and how they can help you identify risky behaviors, and connect you with local support services.

If you or someone you know has experienced sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating or relationship violence, stalking, or sexual exploitation, the University is committed to giving you the help and support you deserve. This page is focused primarily on dating, domestic, or relationship violence concerns given our current climate.
